REC/REW dev update #16

Oh well, looks like I really made it.

... And, I would like to point out: no less than a week ahead of schedule (be aware that I postponed my SubaHibi playthrough to get to this point, I do hope it was worth the pain)!

REC/REW ver. 0.2.5 (dedicated to S.Agostino station on Milan's M2 line according to the - weird, I'll give you that - habit I took... it has a sense on its own of course! Still, yeah it's weird) is available both as a web-based version and as a stand-alone downloadable file. I hope this new version will give casual players a clearer idea of what my project is about - and perhaps also entice them enough as to follow me, or at least give me their opinion ^_^!

I also added a few lines of content (nothing really new, I just thought a couple scenes could use a small expansion) and corrected a few typos on the way. This project is getting quite big so I'm honestly having a hard time at checking *everything* (playing the same 8-15 hours long game non-stop typically results in a painful headache - even if it's *my* game, uh...). Long story short: if you happen find typos and/or bugs please bear with me and inform of your findings! Just copy the line immediately before the issue so that I can quickly find the spot, and I'll check it as fast as I can!

Other than that... well, the roadmap is still the same: complete chapter 2 within the end of the year and start rolling out content from chapter 3 by late December / early 2024.

On a side note: I'm a bit shocked at the size of the third chapter, and I must confess rewriting is proceeding slowly - much slowlier than I'd like to admit, that is. While chapter 2 felt like a 100-meter sprint, this one is more akin to a marathon: awesomely rewarding, and I love the way I'm developing my story and the general feel I get when I re-read the script... and at the same time painfully consuming. The original draft was not completely fitting my, uh... vision (big word for a hobbist project, uh) so I'm now working to rearrange stuff and expand the storyline. It's not that I'm lacking ideas - on the contrary the problem is, I've got TOO MANY of them, and I must find ways to organize them in a way that makes sense!

Looks like I'll have to squeeze my grey cells quite a bit in the forthcoming months.

PS. the walkthrough for ver. 0.2.4 also applies to the new version. Being the lazy slug that I am I did not bother changing the file name ^_^;...
